- Capacity for business development advisory services (BDAS) strengthened at district level
- Increased awareness and acceptance for entrepreneurship development and support at district level
- Increased income and other benefits for those directly or indirectly associated with EED
The Project is innovative in terms of its scope, reach, methodology and activities, as follows:
The Project aims at enhancing incomes of small farmers/producers through enterprise related interventions, as opposed to credit on the assumption that it is lack of technical acumen, limited knowledge of markets, marketing, effective costing, ineffective business dealing, and little or no linkages that affect income.
Through this one project, both male and female activists, entrepreneurs and producers would be reached out to, and benefited. The assumption is that little or no progress will be made unless men and women work together as a team towards the income enhancement of local producers and entrepreneurs, Hence the activists in all districts are 50% men and 50% women. |
