Objective:

The project aims at enhancing incomes of small farmers/producers through enterprise related interventions, focusing on technical acumen, knowledge of markets, marketing, effective costing, effective business dealing and linkages, increased awareness and acceptance for entrepreneurship development and support at district level.

  • On average, monthly Income of
    • enterprise activists increase by 1998 rupees
    • entrepreneurs increased by 2070 rupees
    • Producers increased by 1555 rupees.
  • All the trained activists are able to conduct EDT training independently.
  • Capacity of 162 entrepreneurs identified by the EDT activists, was build up in EDT out of which 56% are female and the rest are male
  • The entrepreneurs helped 500 community members to increase their income by at least 10%
  • On average, monthly income of the entrepreneurs as well as of producers increased by at least 25%
  • The trained activists developed linkages with 13 financial & technical institutions, raw material providers and shopkeepers.
