2. Baseline survey

 

  • Survey of  54 TMAs conducted to know their existing capacities
  • Report has been compiled and 1000 copies published and disseminated to different stakeholders

 

3. Strategy for WatSan

 

  • Development of 3 WatSan manuals (draft)
  • A workshop to formulate a draft WatSan Strategy at provincial level held on 20 Sep 2005 (representation from all main stakeholders was ensured i.e., Chief Engineer PHE, P&D, MRDP, NUDP, NWP, CIP, UNICEF, WHO, WESNET, TMA etc.)

4. Social Mobilization;
Health and Hygiene

  •  Social Mobilization, Health and Hygiene manuals have been given for final printing

 

  • Gender policy developed, approved by PSC and shared with all concerned.

 

5. Communication & public awareness

 

  • IEC material; 61000 Posters/Brochures published and disseminated to all TMAs, UCs and Communities

 

6. Improved Monitoring and Evaluation procedures

 

  • Survey of TMAs conducted to know existing situation regarding M&E. Report has been compiled and shared with all concerned. In light of recommendations received working paper has been developed and disseminated to concerned quarters.
  • Development of MIS for TMAs in progress

 

7. Physical Implementation of Schemes

 

  • A total of 1564 schemes have been approved by PCU so far 380 schemes have been completed.
